Little JiangHan has endured a lot in her short life but as you can see she is doing well after her surgey and is a happy little girl.

Update October 2008

JiangHan is a very smart little girl. She is quiet, and learns quickly. She loves all the nannies, but especially Nanny Feng. She knows just how to get Nanny Feng to do anything she wants...JiangHan's sweet little voice when she says "Mama" will melt any heart! She gets around in her walking car, and can also pull herself around very fast. Her legs are very weak and she cannot stand or walk. She eats anything offered to her, and sleeps very well.
Her present development:
Height: 75cm Weight: 7.4kg Chest: 45cm
Head Cir: 48cm

Update January 21, 2008

Jiang Han has changed a lot, she could raise her head, sitting up with a little support! She loves kisses, and she will give you a sweet and gentle smile when you are cuddling with her. She knows her names of Jiang Han, and would smile at you when hearing her name.

Her present height: 65cm; Weight: 6.3kg; Head cir. 46cm and Chest cir. :41cm.

Qian JiangHan was born in February of 2007. She was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. She had her first surgery to remove the meningocele and insert a shunt in March. Unfortunately, the shunt failed to work properly after she returned to her orphanage. She developed pneumonia and was in the hospital in Chongqing for a while before they brought her to our Siping Center on August 18. On August 21 she had surgery to replace the malfunctioning shunt. She is improving every day!

Jianghan is pointing at you. "Who are you", she says. "Are
you one of the people that paid for my surgery?"
Just enjoying being alive!
Enjoying her walker and dog!

Please
Support the Siping
Fostercare Children

Would you please help support the children in our fostercare home in Siping, China.  It costs $280 per child per month to provide the medical care, food, diapers, and staff to give these children a chance to survive long enough to be adopted.  We don't expect everyone to provide complete sponsorship to one child so we offer you three options for monthly donations.  "Option A" is $28 per month (just 92 cents a day), "Option B" is $20 per month (just 65 cents a day), "Option C" is $10 per month (just 32 cents a day), or if you are feeling really crazy, I mean generous, today; we have "Option D" so you can provide 100% of a child's support per month.  We hope one of these will allow you to help these children.  They have no one else to look to for hope.

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Your donations are tax deductable.
