 Xi Yi was very ill with pneumonia when he arrived at the orphanage on December 3, 2008.

Update: June 2009

Xin Yi is still the strongest boy at the Center! He is eating, playing and enjoying life every day. He is also one of the happy guys! Currently, his weight is 9kg; height is 66cm; head circumference 43cm; and chest 48cm.

Xin Yi is a fast growing boy. He is eating well and sleeping very well now.

Update: December 2008

XiYi is a baby boy born September 1, 2008. He arrived at the Center from the Siping orphanage on December 3 very ill with pneumonia. He was also having difficulty keeping his formula down. He began receiving treatment immediately. We are concerned about his head shape, and will be monitoring this closely in the coming weeks.

Fostercare Children

Would you please help support the children in our fostercare home in Siping, China.  It costs $280 per child per month to provide the medical care, food, diapers, and staff to give these children a chance to survive long enough to be adopted.  We don't expect everyone to provide complete sponsorship to one child so we offer you three options for monthly donations.  "Option A" is $28 per month (just 92 cents a day), "Option B" is $20 per month (just 65 cents a day), "Option C" is $10 per month (just 32 cents a day), or if you are feeling really crazy, I mean generous, today; we have "Option D" so you can provide 100% of a child's support per month.  We hope one of these will allow you to help these children.  They have no one else to look to for hope.
