 Xie Rui had been adopted but the family brought him back to the orphanage because they changed their minds.

 

Update: October 2011

Xiao Rui is the most healthy kid here. He is a smart and active boy, who is busy all the time. He has eight teeth now. From times to time, he calls “Mama” and wanted to be picked up by any of the nannies, after cuddling for a while, then running away to be busy with his time. While Xiao Rui is the one who would grab toys from the other kids with his own will, at the time he caused a little trouble around. We started teaching him “not to take the toys from the others”, but not much changes, this really needs some time.

Update: September 2011

Xie Rui is one year old on the 9th of the month. He is walking very steady now, and also can say Mama, and expressing his willing. He is good eater. He also has a couple of days of running nose, but got over quickly with some medicine.

 

Update: July 2011

Xie Rui is one to capture every visitors heart. He loves to be held and if he doesn't get entertained by a toy or a person, he will break into a long cry until he gets what he wants. He is a boy who loves his food and is an adorable toddler. He is becoming more and more curious as he is starting to perfect his walking. The first week of being here, Xie Rui could barely take a few steps on his own and now he can walk ten times more than he could weeks ago.

When Xie Rui becomes available for adoption depends on when the orphanage sends in his file to the CCCWA. Then the CCCWA must place him on the special needs list. Since he is basically healthy I am not sure he would be placed on the special needs list. He may be on the healthy child list and in that case might be adopted by anyone from anywhere and we would not know until just before the adoption.

Xie Rui is not available for adoption at this time. The children at our foster care Center are not available for adoption unless noted on their page.

Fostercare Children

Would you please help support the children in our fostercare home in Siping, China.  It costs $280 per child per month to provide the medical care, food, diapers, and staff to give these children a chance to survive long enough to be adopted.  We don't expect everyone to provide complete sponsorship to one child so we offer you three options for monthly donations.  "Option A" is $28 per month (just 92 cents a day), "Option B" is $20 per month (just 65 cents a day), "Option C" is $10 per month (just 32 cents a day), or if you are feeling really crazy, I mean generous, today; we have "Option D" so you can provide 100% of a child's support per month.  We hope one of these will allow you to help these children.  They have no one else to look to for hope.
